Join us for Adirondack Appreciation Day, sponsored by the Uihlein Foundation, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Lake Placid Horse Shows. This special community celebration offers free admission for all spectators and provides a unique opportunity to experience international equestrian sport in the heart of the Adirondacks.
In addition to world-class competition featuring riders and horses from across the globe, guests can enjoy family-friendly activities throughout the day, including the popular Doggie Costume Contest sponsored by Man & Beast, face painting, and more. Whether you're a longtime horse show fan or visiting for the first time, Adirondack Appreciation Day is the perfect opportunity to discover why the Lake Placid Horse Shows have been a summer tradition since 1969. Come celebrate our community and enjoy a day of sport, family fun, and Adirondack hospitality.

When are the 2026 Lake Placid Horse Shows?
The Lake Placid Horse Show runs from June 23 – June 28, 2026. There is an off day on June 29, where no competition will be held. The I Love NY Horse Show runs from June 30 – July 5, 2026.
Where can I purchase tickets?
An attentent will meet you at the main enterence where you can purchase tickets. They will then direct you to a parking spot.
What time do the shows start each day?
Competition begins around 8:00 AM and runs through the afternoon. Feature classes and Grand Prix events are held on weekends — check the Daily Schedule page for updated times.
Is seating available?
Bleacher seating is available around the rings, and guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets for a relaxed viewing experience.
Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome! Please keep them clear of competition areas and remember to clean up after them.
